Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin is currently working on developing Game of Thrones as a stage play for Broadway, the West End and Australia. Martin is writing the play alongside Duncan MacMillan, and it is set to be directed by Dominic Cooke. The first show is expected to launch in 2023.

Robert Icke's THE DOCTOR Starring Juliet Stevenson Postponed Until 2021

Robert Icke's Almeida Theatre production, The Doctor, will now be postponed until 2021. Juliet Stevenson will reprise her role as Professor Ruth Wolff as previously announced, with further casting to be confirmed in due course.

Tyrone Huntley today announced the nominations for the 20th annual WhatsOnStage Awards via WhatsOnStage's social channels, the only major theatre prize-giving decided entirely by the theatregoers themselves. The announcement of the nominations marks the opening of the final voting stage (until 27 January), with winners announced at the annual Awards Concert held on 1 March 2020 at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
