Surflight Theatre has announced that they will be continuing their 2023  Season with the energetic romp full of impressions, wit, and charm, Popcorn Falls.

New Jersey Repertory Company “NJRep,” located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch presents “Popcorn Falls” written by James Hindman and directed by Rose Riccardi. The play stars James Hindman and Tom Souhrada.

Grammy Award winner Tori Kelly, Grammy Award winner Colbie Caillat, folk-pop musical group Us The Duo, and more come together at Carnegie Hall on Thursday, December 5th to perform at Christmas with Tim Janis & Special Guests, a benefit concert for the Forever Young Foundation's music therapy initiative Sophie's Place, which provides music therapy facilities built in children's hospitals and Kate Winslet's Golden Hat Foundation, which celebrates and fosters awareness of those living with autism. The Directors Company, in association with Pascal Productions, will present A BETTER PLACE, a new work by playwright Wendy Beckett (Anais Nin: One Of Her Lives, A Charity Case) and directed by Evan Bergman (Love Therapy), will play a limited six-week engagement this spring at The Duke on 42nd Street, a NEW 42ND STREET project (229 West 42nd Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues).

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, 59E59 Theaters recently announced a line-up of shows for Fall 2014, which will take place at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). One of the selections is Alain Boublil's MANHATTAN PARISIENNE, directed by Graciela Daniele and running December 18 - January 4. Now according to the New York Times, the premiere will star star Boublil's wife, Maria Zamora.

The evening celebrated the legacy of late actor and comedian Bob Hope and honored decades of support by Interpublic Group.

Signature Theatre Company (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) celebrated the construction of the theatre's future home, The Signature Center, at its 2010 annual gala on Monday, March 1 at Espace (635 West 42nd Street). Guest of honor was Frank Gehry, architect of the Signature Center. The evening alsod include the presentation of Signature's Playwrights' Award to actress Hallie Foote, daughter of the late playwright Horton Foote, who is currently starring at Signature in her father's critically acclaimed world premiere trilogy, The Orphans' Home Cycle.

The American Theatre Wing has announced the newest members of the Nominating Committee for the 63rd Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards.

Nominations in 26 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing's 62nd Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards were announced today by Tony Award Winners Sara Ramirez and David Hyde Pierce at the Tony Award Nominations Announcement sponsored by IBM. The nominees were selected by an independent committee of 23 theatre professionals appointed by the Tony Awards Administration Committee. The 2008 Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
