New Comedy SHEILA'S ISLAND is Coming to Theatre Royal Brighton This April

Rooted in the everyday lives of four women finding themselves truly out of their comfort zones, Sheila’s Island examines what lies beneath the superficiality of office relationships. With vulnerability, viciousness, painful honesty and great wit, we can all see some of ourselves in Sheila, Denise, Fay and Julie.

BWW Review: THE MAN IN THE WHITE SUIT, Wyndham's Theatre

A 1950s Ealing comedy probably wouldn't be your first port of call when trying to think of a timely film to adapt for the stage, whilst also giving people an opportunity for a much-needed laugh. However, The Man in the White Suit has managed it in one perfect package. Sean Foley has adapted and directed this stage production, which has now opened on the West End following a short run at Theatre Royal Bath.

BWW Review: DEAD DOG IN A SUITCASE (AND OTHER LOVE SONGS), Lyric Hammersmith

"Bring it down. Bring it all down and start again!" An unexpected European election day in the UK and anticipation of Theresa May's resignation formed the backdrop for Kneehigh's London press night for Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs), making its presence more vital than ever - and its message more potent. Carl Grose and Charles Hazlewood's show, which was first performed in 2014, is based on John Gay's The Beggar's Opera, taking the characters and hurling them into the present day.

APPROACHING EMPTY Comes to Tron Theatre

Tamasha, Kiln and Live Theatre will present a Scottish premiere of Approaching Empty as part of our spring season, written by award-winning playwright Ishy Din and directed by Pooja Ghai (Associate Director of Theatre Royal Stratford East 2015-2018).

BWW Review: APPROACHING EMPTY, Kiln Theatre

Greed can do terrible things to a person. The desire to constantly make money will inevitably lead to ethics being lost, friendships being tainted and mistakes being made. The themes of pain and mistrust are ever so evident in Ishy Din's new play, which sees a man with a dream risk it all to win big.
