Donned in aviation attire, nautical garb, and their vacation finest, some 175 guests took to the skies as they gathered at Hiller Aviation Museum to honor TheatreWorks Silicon Valley at its spring fundraiser A Muse Ball: Take a Journey with TheatreWorks, a high-flying celebration of art and inspiration.

The Manor Theater in Squirrel Hill is set to reopen on Friday, April 23. The cinema has previously reopened on August 28, but the lack of patrons caused owner Rick Stern to close once again.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley is seeking potential travelers to embark on the exhilarating journey of its nearly 50 years of innovative theatre with its fall gala TheatreWorks Around the World. Established in Palo Alto in 1970, TheatreWorks has grown over the past 47 years into one of the largest theatre companies in the Bay Area, and one of the nation's leading presenters of new works. In celebration of TheatreWorks' mark on the map, this thrilling expedition will include delectable food, wine, an original show, and an exceptional benefit auction to support TheatreWorks' ongoing mission of theatre excellence. A glittering group representing theatre and technology worlds celebrated a beautiful friendship Saturday night when TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, staged its annual TheatreWorks Honors gala June 21 at the Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club, this year paying tribute to Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award-winning Broadway composer Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, The Addams Family, Big Fish) and Ray Rothrock, Partner Emeritus of pioneering venture capital firm Venrock.
