The Contemporary Theater Company in Wakefield, RI will present THE MOORS, Jen Silverman's gothic absurdist comedy set on 19th-century English moors, featuring a cast of Rhode Island theater artists directed by Sonny Wong.

The Heidi Chronicles, directed by Gia Yarn, opened in Providence with Reverie Theatre Group. You can now get a first look at production photos. Reverie is hosting a food and toiletry drive to benefit 134 Collaborative and Good Neighbors.

Reverie Theatre Group will open its third season this fall with Wendy Wasserstein’s seminal feminist classic THE HEIDI CHRONICLES, directed by Gia Yarn. Performances will run November 6–16.

Fortunately, Through The Glass Theatre is right at home in that liminal space. Their earnest, straightforward staging of Dead Man’s Cell Phone lets Ruhl’s quirky meditation on death, disconnection, and intimacy unfold with pathos and wit.

West Bay Community Theater will present Noel Coward's classic comedy of manners, PRIVATE LIVES, June 29thand 30th (8pm) and Saturday, July 1st (2pm) at the Courthouse Center for the Arts in West Kingston, RI.

BELL, BOOK AND CANDLE, playing at Westerly's Granite Theatre through October 28th, is the perfect choice of a play for this month, when thoughts of Halloween and all things spooky and mystical are in the air.

Fear not, theatre-goers: David Auburn's Proof, presented by the Renaissance City Theatre, Inc. at Westerly's plush Granite Theatre weekends through May 12th, may contain talk of mathematicians and theorems, but to consider this merely a "play about math" would be disingenuous.
