The Public Theater's Free Shakespeare in the Park production of The Tempest officially opened last night, June 16, and runs through Sunday, July 5, 2015. The Old Globe presents William Shakespeare's delightful and romantic Twelfth Night. Rebecca Taichman, whose production of the time-traveling Time and the Conways fascinated audiences last April, is back to direct the first show of the 2015 Summer Shakespeare Festival. The Old Globe engagement will begin performances on June 21 and run through July 26, 2015, with opening night on Saturday, June 27 at 8:00 p.m., in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. Akhenaten: The Musical, a new Broadway bound show Created and Directed by Hisham Abdel Khalek, Book by Hisham Abdel Khalek and Mohamed Metwally (Lyrics), Music by Hesham Nazih  and Choreographed by Multi-Award Winner Chet Walker (Pippin, Fosse), will receive a invitation-only reading on Thursday May 21, 2015 at 2PM.
