A newly unveiled Sing for Hope Piano helped mark the much-anticipated opening of The REACH at The Kennedy Center, the first new addition to The Kennedy Center since its grand opening nearly 50 years ago. As the United States' National Cultural Center, The Kennedy Center is the busiest of all U.S. performing arts venues, hosting more than 2,000 performances a year and serving as the home of both the National Symphony Orchestra and the Washington National Opera.

Today, June 28, at 9 a.m., a special public ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in celebration of the official opening of the Linde Center for Music and Learning-a major new four-building complex, summer home to the Tanglewood Learning Institute, Tanglewood's first new programming initiative in decades, also launching this summer as part of the 2019 Tanglewood season, June 15-September 1.
