Retro pop, rock, and soul vibes will permeate a pair of the most highly anticipated annual events at LIGHT OF DAY WINTERFEST 2019, the 10-day festival (Jan. 11-21, 2019), presented by the Asbury Park Press, entering its 19th year of raising money and awareness through the awesome power of music in order to defeat Parkinson's Disease and the Parkinsonisms, ALS and PSP, in our lifetime. 

With a goal of reaching the $5.5 million mark in its ongoing battle against Parkinson's disease, LIGHT OF DAY WINTERFEST 2019, presented by the Asbury Park Press, the 19th anniversary edition of the anchor event for the world-renowned Light of Day Foundation, will bring over 150 music acts to 30 venues over 10 days in two New Jersey cities, New York City, Philadelphia, and Rockland County, NY, in January, following a holiday season European tour that kicks off today.

In celebration of the Broadway musical's 50th anniversary, the Axelrod PAC presents HAIR in Concert with Remember Jones directing and starring as Claude alongside Tony Award nominees Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages) as Berger and Mary Bridget Davies (A Night with Janis Joplin) as Sheila.

Jersey Shore legend RICHIE 'LaBAMBA' ROSENBERG, a late-night TV fixture for 25 years as a horn section mainstay in Conan O'Brien's Basic Cable Band, returns to his roots to lead LaBAMBA'S BIG BAND & FRIENDS, Featuring Special Guest GARY U.S. BONDS, as the headline attraction of 'Bob's Birthday Bash,' the main event of LIGHT OF DAY WINTERFEST for its 18thanniversary edition, with a goal of topping last year's record-breaking $555,000 raised in its ongoing battle against Parkinson's disease

The Axelrod Performing Arts Center (APAC) welcomed Broadway's original Dr. Henry Jekyll, Robert Cuccioli, and American Idol finalist and Broadway's revival Dr. J, Constantine Maroulis, at its opening of 'Jekyll and Hyde.' Scroll down for a photo of them with star Remember Jones!

NikoFrank Productions has released a new original comedic sketch video, 'Elevated Thinking' featuring the single Everybody Steals from the Remember Jones album. The video was written by Maggie Politi (Rachel Dratch's Late Night Snack, Dance Mom's) & Spiro Marcos (Hunting Season) and directed by Maggie Politi. It was shot & edited by Jordan Battiste (The Official Panda Bandit, Pants Velour).

Lincoln Hall presents a celebration and re-creation of the entire groundbreaking 1970 live album and tour, MAD DOGS & ENGLISHMEN on Thursday, April 20th. Serving as a dedication to Joe Cocker and Leon Russell, the show will be recreated with the exact 20-piece personnel from the original tour including a full choir, two drum kits, horn section, piano and Hammond B3, two guitars, and more.

The Asbury Park portion of LIGHT OF DAY WINTERFEST 2016, where the bulk of the action will occur, is being held today, Jan. 8, through Jan. 18, 2016 at such fabled rock venues as the Paramount Theater, the Stone Pony, and the Wonder Bar, among others.

The Strand Theater, 400 Clifton Ave, Lakewood, NJ and artistic director Anthony D'Amato presents first time ever live music subscription series, NOW That's What I Call Music LIVE!, beginning with 1998's original NOW album on November 27. LIGHT OF DAY WINTERFEST 2016 season officially kicks offtoday with a special one-hour block of programming on Sirius XM's E Street Radio (Channel 20), and further north, the launch of Light of Day Canada. It's the start of this year's campaign to raise money and awareness for Parkinson's disease and related neuro-degenerative diseases through 'the awesome power of music.'
