The award winning Star Center Children's Theatre of Gainesville, Florida will take on the Big Apple in a big way. The students will workshop an original musical, EVER HAPPILY AFTER with multi-award winning composers and writer, Randy Klein, Matthew Hardy and Jill Jaysen.
On March 30th, more than 35 talented youth will travel to New York City to work on the original musical, Ever Happily After, with multi award-winning writers Randy Klein (Music), Jill Jaysen (Book), and Matthew Hardy (Book and Lyrics). The young cast and crew will present the musical fairytale in Gainesville, Florida in June. The workshop will be held at Pearl Studios.
This year marks the beginning of the 80th season for the Canton Symphony Orchestra. For our 2017-2018 season, we plan to bring concerts full of color and life to the audience. This season brings back favorite guests of seasons past, and features some of our own musicians soloing with the orchestra. Some concerts include favorite standards in the classical repertoire, and others expose concert-goers to new music or lesser-known masterpieces for the orchestra.
