FANCY NANCY SPLENDIFEROUS CHRISTMAS to Play Main Street Theater for the Holidays

Break out your party dresses - FANCY NANCY is back for the holiday season! FANCY NANCY SPLENDIFEROUS CHRISTMAS, based on the book by Jane O'Connor, with book by Cara Lustik and Matthew Hardy, music by Randy Klein, and lyrics by Matthew Hardy, will be directed by Jimmy Phillips with music direction by Claudia Dyle at Main Street Theater.

After selling some of her old gowns and accessories, Nancy has enough money to buy a brand-new sparkly tree topper. But when things don't turn out the way Nancy planned, will Christmas still be splendiferous? This energetic holiday indulgence is a fanciful Christmas treat!

Recommended for Pre-kindergarten and up. Children under the age of 3 (including sleeping babies) are not allowed in the theater.

Monday - Thursday, December 19 - 22, at 10:30 a.m.
Fridays, November 25 and December 23 at 10:30 a.m.
Saturdays, November 26 and December 3 - 17 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Main Street Theater provides theater experiences for all ages. Founded in 1975, our MainStage produces professional, intimate, literary plays for adults; our Theater for Youth produces professional, engaging productions based on children's literature for families and school groups, both in-house and on tour around Texas; and we offer Education and Outreach programs on-site and at satellite locations around the Greater Houston area for youth aged 4 - high school. We work out of 2 new facilities: our Rice Village home on Times. Blvd., and as part of the MATCH (Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston) on Main Street.
