Grand theatricality, kitsch Australiana, larger-than-life characters, and kids we’ve all seen, known, and a lot of us once were - this July, Theatre Works brings one of Australia’s most iconic works back to the stage.

The world premiere of Jack Craddock is Having a Party, a new comedy by Harrison Harvey, has been set to play nine performances only at Moving Arts Theatre beginning Friday, May 12, at 8pm. Directed by Rachel McBath, the cast will feature (in alphabetical order) Eric Patrick Harper, Sally Hughes, Andy Schirrmeister, and Morgan Thompson. Check out photos here!

As Mother’s Day approaches, Rachel Platten unveils her first new single in nearly three years. She produced “Girls” alongside Jason Evigan (Selena Gomez, Zendaya, Rüfüs Du Sol) and Gian Stone (John Legend, Ariana Grande, Jonas Brothers). Shot in one take, the video features Rachel on piano in her home studio.

The New Group and National Black Theatre have released production photos of the world premiere of Bernarda's Daughters, by Diane Exavier, directed by Dominique Rider, featuring Pascale Armand, Alana Raquel Bowers, Kristin Dodson, Malika Samuel, Taji Senior and Tamara Tunie.

This sentiment becomes in many ways the mantra for ANTONIO’S SONG: It’s a deeply human exploration of identity — and specifically Suarez’s identity — and all the elements that make us who we are. In ANTONIO’S SONG, Suarez and co-playwright Dael Orlandersmith share vignettes from Suarez’s upbringing that reflect the complexities of his identity. This is a touching, if not groundbreaking, solo show. Ultimately, theater reflects our humanity, and ANTONIO’S SONG reinforces that we turn to art to better understand ourselves. Structurally and thematically, this is well-trod territory.

Based on Isaac Asimov’s award-winning stories, and featuring an international cast led by Emmy-nominated actors Jared Harris and Lee Pace, alongside rising stars Lou Llobell and Leah Harvey, the 10-episode second season of “Foundation” will debut globally on Apple TV+.
