Theatre Bay Area, one of the largest regional performing arts service organizations in North America, has announced the finalists of the 2019 TBA Awards. The sixth-annual TBA Awards Celebration will take place on Monday, Nov. 4 at the Herbst Theatre (401 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco).

In celebration of its 15th anniversary season next year, Ragged Wing Ensemble is pleased to present TIME SENSITIVE, with an updated script written and directed by the company's Artistic Director Amy Sass. Time Sensitive opens in preview on Friday, April 5, 2019, and runs through May 4. Opening night is scheduled for Saturday, April 6. Performances run Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 5 p.m. Two Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. will take place on April 27 and May 4. This year's Harlem School of the Arts (HSA) Masquerade Ball and After Party, an annual benefit gala in support of the 54-year-old arts organization, surpassed expectations once again by raising over a million dollars, for the second year in a row. Hershey Area Playhouse is proud to present, Inherit the Wind, an American play by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, which debuted in 1955. The story fictionalizes the 1925 Scopes 'Monkey' Trial as a means to discuss the then-contemporary McCarthy trials.
