Opening with Speaking in Tonguesby Andrew Bovell on June 6 and the U.S. premiere of Ruben Guthrie by Brendan Cowell on June 7, performances of the two plays continue in repertory through June 28, with a free "Works by Women" reading series taking place every Wednesday evening.

The Alive with Art After Party will feature performances by artists Rachel Brown and The Bones of J.R. Jones. All proceeds will benefit Brooklyn Arts Council.

Today, Friday 29 January, Mary Rachel Brown was awarded the second annual Lysicrates Prize for new Australian Playwriting, receiving a full $12,500 Griffin Theatre Company commission, as voted by the audience, at Verbrugghen Hall, Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
