Alleyway Theatre starts the second half of its 44th season with THE FOLKS AT HOME, a love letter to the great sitcoms of the 1970s. The comedy is written by R. Eric Thomas and directed by Daniel F. Lendzian. Pay-What-You-Can-Previews begin February 9, with an opening night set for Wednesday February 14, 2024.

Mosaic Theater Company presents the world premiere of Monumental Travesties, a searing new comedy written by Mosaic's Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Playwright-in-Residence Psalmayene 24 and directed by Mosaic Artistic Director Reginald L. Douglas. Playpenn Expands 2023 Programming To Support More Local Playwrights

PlayPenn announces its return to The Drake Theatre in July with readings of six brand new, full-length plays. For a second consecutive year, the focus will be on uplifting Philadelphia playwrights. Four of the readings will feature work by graduating members of The Foundry: Robynne Graffam, Griffin Horn, Devin Randall, and Megan Schumacher. In addition, there will be two independent PlayPenn Workshop presentations, both consisting of a week-long rehearsal process.
