Queens Theatre today announced the cast for this month's rarely seen New York City stage production of Harper Lee's classic To Kill A Mockingbird. Directed by Rob Urbinati, To Kill A Mockingbird is playing a two-week engagement with performances beginning on Friday, November 13th and extending through Sunday, November 22. c

Hampstead Theatre announces the full casting for Tom Stoppard's play Hapgood, which previews from Friday 4 December 2015. Directed by Howard Davies, the full cast features Lisa Dillon, who will take the title role, Gary Beadle, Joe Evans, Edward Hancock, Gerald Kyd, Tim McMullan and Alec Newman. Child actors Adam Cansfield and Sasha Graycomplete the cast.

Written by Antu Yacob and directed by Ari Laura Kreith, Theatre 167's Mourning Sun begins its World Premiere engagement on Friday, November 6 at the West End Theatre, located in the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew at 263 West 86th Street.

The award-winning Titan Theatre Company opened its 2015/16 Season with Oscar Wilde's delightful and romantic romp THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST directed by Broadway Veteran Terry Layman. Titan Theatre Company has started rehearsals for the first production of its 2015-16 season, the comedic masterpiece THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST by Oscar Wilde. Performances will begin tonight, October 23rd at the Queens Theatre. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the cast in rehearsal below!

Good Theater is proud to present the world premiere of MAMA'S BOY, an exciting new play from Rob Urbinati the author of Death by Design.  Broadway veteran, Betsy Aidem, plays Marguerite Oswald with Graham (The Rainmaker) Emmons as Lee Harvey Oswald, Laurel (The Rainmaker) Casillo as Marina Oswald and Erik (4000 Miles) Moody as Robert Oswald in this fascinating look at the mother and the family behind an event that changed the course of history.  The show will open October 28 for a run through November 22.

Inspired by real life narratives taken from the Sundarbans in India and the south coast of England and developed in collaboration with leading lecturer in coastal oceanography Dr Ivan Haigh, The Edge is a powerful two-hand production exploring the universal and hugely topical issue of mass migration caused by climate change.

 Theatre 167 is the recipient of the New York Innovative Theatre Foundation's 2015 Caffe Cino Fellowship Award, presented to a company "that consistently produces outstanding work." Theatre 167 previously received the 2014 New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Premiere Production for its world premiere of Pirira.

Herbert Kretzmer, the former London theatre critic who went on to write the lyrics for LES MISERABLES, the longest running and most successful musical in the world, will celebrate his 90 th birthday on October 5th.

Queens Library and TITAN Theatre Company announced today that they will be teaming up for an ambitious outreach program titled 'Shakespeare in Queens' that will present staged readings of the entire canon of Shakespeare's works at community libraries throughout the borough of Queens.
