This September, Arion Productions presents the world premiere of new British musical THE WHITE FEATHER at the Union Theatre, tonight 16th September - 17th October 2015 (opening night 18th September). It tells the story of Georgina Briggs whose brother was one of over 300 allied soldiers executed for cowardice during the First World War. She won't accept the shame and she won't let it lie. Broadway Connection Teachers in THE LITTLE MERMAID & CINDERELLA to Teach at Minneapolis Schools

September 13th kicks off an extensive Broadway Connection season in Minneapolis with scheduled Master Classes at local studios including Jete Dance Center, Ballare Teatro, Barbi Lee Dance Arts and more as they introduce students to Broadway Connection Teachers, Marjorie Failoni and Robbie Roby from the cast of THE LITTLE MERMAID and Ben Lanham from the cast of CINDERELLA.  The 2-hour Broadway Connection Master Classes are scheduled at the each studio's home location in Minneapolis while the teaching artists perform at the Orpheum Theater.  In the elite Broadway Connection Classes, students and parents experience direct access to current working Broadway performers who share the technique, style and training required to work professionally in dance, theater, TV and film.  Jete Dance Center, Ballare Teatro, Barbi Lee Dance Arts and over 30 more studios, schools and universities in the Minneapolis area have taken advantage of this rare opportunity to dance with Broadway's most elite artists in the comfort of their home spaces through Broadway Connection.  And the community is thrilled to have the inspiration, passion, and energy of New York back again for the 8th season in a row. Angela Mannella-Hoffman from Moore Than Dance comments on her 2014-2015 Broadway Connection Season, "Broadway Connection is such an amazing program and we always learn so much.  I love how the teachers incorporate audition techniques and tips in with class.  Thank you for all that you do for this program.  It really gives my students something to strive for!"

Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Titan's THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST

The complete cast and creative team have been announced for TITAN Theatre Company's production of Oscar Wilde's delightful and romantic romp THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST. Broadway Veteran Terry Layman, whose award winning portrayal as the "Mad King" in Titan's critically acclaimed production of KING LEAR that fascinated audiences in 2014, is back to direct the first show of the Titan's highly anticipated 2015/16 season. The LIMITED NYC ENGAGEMENT will begin performances on October 23rd and run through November 8th, 2015, at the Queens Theater, where Titan is the official Theatre-in-Residence

English Touring Theatre and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse today announce the full cast for the world premiere of their co-production of The Odyssey: Missing Presumed Dead. The production reunites Simon Armitage and Nick Bagnall after their recent collaborations on The Last Days of Troy and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Nick Bagnall directs Lee Armstrong, Simon Dutton, Roger Evans, Polly Frame, David Hartley, Ranjit Krishnamma, Chris Reilly, Sule Rimi, Danusia Samal, Colin Tierney and Susie Trayling.

On September 15, the Tony Award-winning production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time will welcome Tyler Lea in his Broadway debut as Christopher, Rosie Benton (Stick Fly) as Siobhan, Andrew Long (The Iceman Cometh at BAM) as Ed, and Nancy Robinette('Louie') as Mrs. Alexander, BroadwayWorld has just confirmed. Benjamin Wheelwright will also make his Broadway debut as Christopher at certain performances.

Transport Theatre to Launch UK Tour of THE EDGE

From 8 October to 14 November, Transport, the critically acclaimed Folkstone-based theatre company behind Invisible, 1001 Nights and Elegy will present a brand new devised production, The Edge, with original music composed by award-winning Raymond Yiu. Inspired by real life narratives taken from the south coast of England and the Sundabans in India and developed in collaboration with leading lecturer in coastal oceanography Dr Ivan Haigh, The Edge is an extensive exploration of climate change and migration. Based on an encounter between two people from different cultures that encompasses myths from the sea, the history of human migration, the formation of rivers and seas, the piece will be devised and directed by Douglas Rintoul and the creative team behind Elegy.

Final casting has been set for the 2015 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity's Playwrights For A Cause, set to take place at 7:30pm on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at New York Theatre Workshop, 79 East 4th Street, on Sunday, June 14 at 7:30 pm. The evening, which will benefit the non-profit National Coalition Against Censorship, will showcase world premiere one-act plays by three acclaimed playwrights: Israel Horovitz's Breaking Phillip Glass and Erik Ehn's Her Speech, both directed by Planet Connections Theatre Festivity founder and PFAC Producing Artistic Curator Glory Kadigan, and Halley Feiffer's A Play About New Mexico, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch.
