Ken Davenport and Hunter Arnold announced today that the new hit production of Once On This Island will launch a North American tour during the fall of 2019.

Second Stage Theater (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Casey Reitz, Executive Director) has announced that EMMA GEER will join the previously announced TATIANA MASLANY and SUSAN POURFAR in the New York Premiere of TRACY LETTS' acclaimed play, MARY PAGE MARLOWE, directed by LILA NEUGEBAUER.

The Hearth (Artistic Directors Julia Greer and Emma Miller) will extend the World Premiere of Gracie Gardner's female coming of age story, ATHENA, directed by Emma Miller (NYIT nominated director of For Annie) at JACK (505 ½ Waverly Avenue between Fulton and Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn) for additional performances on Tuesday, March 20, Wednesday, March 21, Thursday, March 22, Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24 at 8pm. BroadwayWorld is sad to report that actor James Colby passed away on February 23rd. He was 56. Colby was most recently seen on Broadway in Lynn Nottage's SWEAT.

Casting has been announced for GOLDSTEIN, a new musical about family with music and lyrics by Michael Roberts and a book by Charlie Schulman which opens Thursday, April 5th at the Actors Temple Theatre (339 West 47 St -between 8th and 9th Avenues).

Two very different people thrown together in a hospital room where both their mothers are battling cancer--it's surely not the most auspicious first encounter. But after a hostile beginning, the two find they have some surprising common ground, in Halley Feiffer's outrageously funny, and ultimately touching, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center of New York City. The play begins a 4-week regional premiere run at Stage West on Thursday, March 8.

Soho Rep. (Sarah Benson, Artistic Director; Cynthia Flowers, Executive Director), has extended the world premiere of Aleshea Harris's Relentless Award-winning Is God Is, directed by Taibi Magar, a second time, through March 31.

Based on the short story by Isak Dinesen (and made famous by the 1987 Academy Award-winning film), Babette's Feast will begin performances Wednesday March 14th at the Theatre at Saint Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between Ninth & Tenth Avenues) for an open-ended Off-Broadway engagement.  Opening Night is set for Sunday March 25th (5pm).  The performance runs 90 minutes with no intermission.
