Salty Brine announces a new cabaret-theater hybrid production of And If You Listen Very Hard as the latest installment in his series, The Living Record Collection. And If You Listen Very Hard is inspired by Led Zeppelin's acclaimed album Led Zeppelin IV and Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island. The show will perform at Pangea (178 2nd Avenue) on October 24 and November 9. On October 24, doors will open at 6:00pm and the show will begin at 7:00pm. Musings will showcase the exciting, fresh, paradigm-shifting storytelling that 5 of New York's leading stage actresses have developed through intensive workshops, called Mini Muses. The week will culminate in a party on October 19th, the 'Mini Gala' - a wine and cheese event to celebrate the week's presentations; and 'Tea Time,' a one-of-a-kind Muse pilot program, where a veteran stage actress discusses her experiences building her career. Actress Florencia Lozano is set to partake as the Tea Time guest.

The Lark is thrilled to announce five plays and playwrights have been chosen through its Open Access Program for the 25th Annual Playwrights' Week. This year's plays, selected from a pool of over 1,200 submissions, will be: Sistren by Erin Buckley; Even Flowers Bloom in Hell, Sometimes by Franky D. Gonzalez; As Is: Conversations With Big Black Women in Confined Spaces by Stacey Rose; form of a girl unknown by Charly Evon Simpson; and Desarrollo by Juliany Taveras. The selected playwrights will participate in an intensive seven-day retreat, designed to foster a peer-based community among the writers, their creative teams, and The Lark's staff.

MARGO SEIBERT - the actor, vocalist and songwriter who has taken Broadway by storm in musicals such as Rocky and In Transit - will welcome a roster of special musical guests for her 77th Street album release concert at Joe's Pub on Monday, October 22 at 9:30 PM. She will be joined by Liz Callaway (Tony Award nominee), Telly Leung (Broadway's Aladdin, "Glee"), Nicholas Ward (Frozen), Erin Mackey (Wicked), and Heather Christian (Animal Wisdom). Robert Fox and Alex Turner, in association with Park Theatre, present the UK premiere of Martin Sherman's new play Gently Down The Stream, following a critically acclaimed run at the Public Theater in New York. The production opens at Park Theatre on 18 February 2019, with previews from 13 February, running until 16 March.
