The MV Concert Series has added new shows by Grammy winners, soul icons, folk legends and some of the top artists touring the country. The new additions to an already thrilling summer lineup include Grammy half of farmers Blind Boys of Alabama and Don McLean as well as Grammy winner Ani DiFranco.

The Magic Flute meets The Wizard of Oz in this fantastical world premiere perfect for all ages! From Bellissima Opera's award-winning Transcendence Series, Future Perfect tells the adventures of Miranette, a curious youth who leaves a forbidding society to go towards a future that she wants to see.

Something unexpected has been quietly brewing within Greenwich Village's underground comedy scene and now it's heading into the 150 seat main stage of MacDougal Street's Players Theatre.

Michael Cerveris is a singer/songwriter and guitarist who's toured the US and UK as a guitarist for Bob Mould, but also happens to have been declared 'possibly the most versatile actor on Broadway' by Playbill magazine, while The Wall Street Journal suggested he 'might just be the best musical-theater performer we have.' A veteran of performances at Chicago's Goodman Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and several seasons of Sondheim at Ravinia, Cerveris' last previous singer-songwriter performances in Chicago were at the celebrated Schuba's Tavern in 2004 on tour for his first solo record, Dog Eared, and a stop in early 2020 at Evanston's Wine Goddess Cafe. Cerveris and bandmate Kimberly Kaye will be bringing the songs of their americana/y'allternative/amerikinda band Loose Cattle to SPACE in Evanston on Sunday, May 22nd at 1pm.

Joshua Henry will head the cast of Brave New World: The Musical (as World Controller Thomas Mond) for an invitation-only industry reading on May 23rd in Midtown Manhattan. Joining Henry will be Solea Pfeiffer, Ephraim Sykes, and more.

Gingold Theatrical Group is presenting SPEAKER'S CORNER Writers Group. This season, writers Aeneas Sagar Hemphill, Divya Mangwani, Marcus Scott and Mallory Jane Weiss are developing works in response to prompts from the revolutionary activist humanitarian writings and precepts of George Bernard Shaw.

This week, FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club & Private Event Destination, will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.
