'People don't hate being fat enough,' bioethicist,Daniel Callahan wrote in an editorial for The Hastings Center Report. Callahan's 'edgy strategy,' according to The Atlantic Monthly, is to 'shame fat people' in order to combat obesity. He says that since 'diets, drugs and appeals to their health aren't working, they should be 'shamed and beat upon socially.' Karen Kataline, MSW author of FATLASH! Food Police & the Fear of Thin says this not only creates and exacerbates eating disorders and weight problems, but it is Callahan and people like him who ought to be ashamed.

Beverly Hills Jeweler Designer Pink and White Diamond Ring for JWoww
by Jennifer Diamond
- Oct 18, 2012
Beverly Hills Jewelers Layna & Alan Friedman are no strangers to custom designs, but when approached by Roger Matthews, boyfriend (now fiance) of Jersey Shore's Jenni 'JWoww' Farley, to design an engagement ring, the design concept needed to be big and bold. As Layna Friedman stated, 'A woman never brings back a diamond for being too big.' The end result of months of planning with Roger was a cushion-cut diamond that's more than 5 carats surrounded by 2.5 carats of pink and white diamonds in a hand-made 18 Kt. white-gold setting...and of course was accompanied by a skydiving proposal and acceptance by Jenni.
