Chicago's own Nora Dunn, actress, comedienne and writer, will be hosting a post-show discussion with designer Peach Carr and artist Arica Hilton, to talk about how their work came together for Nora's one-woman show, Mythical Proportions, on Sunday, October 13, following the 4 p.m. performance. The art of burlesque has become a huge trend in entertainment, providing fashion with the 'Vintage' look, and inspiring a major Hollywood movie. It's now being brought back to its traditional European roots - of British Music hall and continental Cabaret - in a new musical touring the UK this summer. Miss Nightingale - the burlesque musical tells a gripping story of sex, scandal and showbiz in war-torn 1940s London. It is at London's Leicester Square Theatre from Tue 2 - Sun 7 July. The show stars British-born international burlesque performer, Amber Topaz.
