The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present On The Town star Elizabeth Stanley in concert on Monday, April 6. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) presents a new Broadway production of the classic musical On the Twentieth Century starring Tony & Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, Golden Globe, SAG Award winner & Tony nominee Peter Gallagher, Tony nominee Andy Karl, Mark Linn-Baker, Tony winner Michael McGrath and Tony winner Mary Louise Wilson. On the Twentieth Century is choreographed by Tony winner Warren Carlyle and directed by six-time Tony nominee Scott Ellis, and features music by Cy Coleman, and book & lyrics by Betty ComdenandAdolph Green. On the Twentieth Century is based on plays by Ben Hecht, Charles MacArthur & Bruce Millholland. The original Broadway production was directed by Harold Prince.

It's time to "shuffle up and deal" for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS with Broadway Bets, a first-of-its-kind Broadway poker tournament co-chaired by Paul Libin, executive vice president of Jujamcyn Theaters, and Robert E. Wankel, president and co-CEO of The Shubert Organization. Libin is president of BC/EFA's Board of Trustees and Wankel is a longtime trustee.

The National Touring Company of WICKED will host "THE WICKED ROCKY HORROR SHOW," a staged concert performance of Richard O'Brien's "The Rocky Horror Show," at The Fonda Theatre Monday, February 23, at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature the company of WICKED, and net proceeds will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Tickets for this event will go on sale to the public on Thursday, January 29th at 10am PT.
Thanks to the fundraising efforts of the U.S.- based national touring companies of WICKED and THE BOOK OF MORMON, a total of $193,857 has been raised this fall for the Actors' Fund of Canada, the lifeline for Canada's entertainment industry. The money, raised by WICKED and THE BOOK OF MORMON company members as part of U.S.-based Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS fall 2014 fundraising campaign, will help support vulnerable members of the Canadian entertainment industry who are facing injury, illness or other crisis situations.
