The Actors' Fund of Canada and members of the National Touring Companies of WICKED and THE BOOK OF MORMON presented DON'T STOP BELIEVIN', an evening of song and dance, at the Panasonic Theatre last night. Net proceeds will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) and the Actors' Fund of Canada.

The 2014 Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 16 is on sale now! This 2-disc, annual CD of original and traditional holiday music features stars and casts from the current Broadway line-up, and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), one of the nation's leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations.

Broadway's best and brightest will dance, sing and celebrate six weeks of intensive fundraising as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS presents the 26th Annual Gypsy of the Year Competition on Monday, December 8 (4:30 PM) and Tuesday, December 9 (2 PM) at the New Amsterdam Theatre (214 West 42nd Street, NYC). The event, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares, is the culminating chapter of fall fundraising efforts by Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies.

Today we are turning our attention to the rapturously received Broadway revival of Golden Age classic ON THE TOWN.

Broadway veteran Phyllis Newman has not only graced the stage with performers such as Bernadette Peters and Donna McKechnie, and worked directly with other Broadway greats such as Leonard Bernstein, but she was even nominated for a Tony Award against Barbra Streisand- and won! Despite her extensive career and success, she finds her greatest joy and pride in the work of her husband, the late Tony Award-winning lyricist Adolph Green. In light of his upcoming 100th birthday and the opening of his first masterpiece, ON THE TOWN, Newman graciously shared with us her experiences as a Broadway veteran and wife of a lyricist.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS announces that the legendary Liza Minnelli is the 2014 addition to its Broadway Legends holiday ornament collection.

16-time Grammy Award-winner Sting will be featured on the annual holiday music CD, Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Vol. 16. Singing with the cast of 'The Last Ship,' ­­­­and playing acoustic guitar accompanied by a full band, Sting has created an original version of 'Soul Cake.'

NYC-based multiplatform artist Mark MacKillop, a Vancouver native, last year completed an international tour of West Side Story in the role of Riff. The musical brought him to major cities across Europe and Israel, and by way of accommodations, their hotels as well. Rather than a written diary, MacKillop chronicled his downtime with an iPhone camera, taking over 80 high-quality, expertly composed black-and-white and color self-portraits in various hotel rooms, in very little clothing. These portraits tied together the aspects of MacKillop's career that resonate most with him; physicality, composition, reflection, and poses related to dance.

Robert Harling's screenplay to the iconic film THE FIRST WIVES CLUB will come alive in New York tonight, October 13th, 2014 at 8pm for a one night-only benefit reading in the Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street), directed by Trip Cullman and featuring an all-star cast.

An exuberant audience filled the Bucks County Playhouse on October 4, 2014, to cheer and heap adoration on celebrated singer Linda Eder as she headlined this year's edition of Bucks County Cabaret (#buckscountycabaret), raising $131,650 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Alumni from the top collegiate fundraisers for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will join together Monday, September 29, 2014, for Cares Continues: The Strength in Generations, a benefit rock concert celebrating a new generation of activists joining the fight for those battling HIV/AIDS. The one-night-only concert pairs '80s favorites popular during the early days of AIDS activism with hopeful stories from today's activist generation.

Stars of MATILDA, IF/THEN and Off-Broadway's PAGEANT were on the scene, exploring this year's star-studded auction, showcasing hot items up for grabs, and catching up with some of their fellow stage stars.
