The National Theatre’s Learning activity is now present in every local authority across the UK through its in-person and digital programmes. The NT’s active engagement with schools, teachers and young people is a key part of its mission to support the next generation of theatre makers and creators across the UK. The NT aims to inspire creativity, fire imaginations and boost skills for the future workforce of the sector and to build a more creative nation.
The Unicorn Theatre Appoints Rachel Bagshaw as Artistic Director

The Unicorn Theatre has announced the appointment of Rachel Bagshaw as the theatre's new Artistic Director. Rachel will take up the position in September, taking over from Justin Audibert, who steps down as Artistic Director this summer.

Hammer Theatre Center announces the return of National Theatre Live (NT Live), kicking off the series with Philip Pullman's wildly compelling The Book of Dust – La Belle Sauvage, directed by Nicholas Hytnerand. This hit stage production, which was filmed in front of a live audience at London's Bridge Theatre, gives local patrons a chance to experience this West End juggernaut without leaving the Bay Area.

Directed by Nicholas Hytner, the production will play at the Bridge Theatre next summer following an opening run at Chichester Festival Theatre.

Straight Line Crazy reunites Fiennes, Hare and Hytner who previously collaborated on Beat the Devil at The Bridge in Autumn 2020. Further casting will be announced at a later date as well as further members of the production team. Priority booking for Straight Line Crazy opens today at 10am, with public booking opening at 10am on 12 October 2021.
