The enduring legacy of one of America's most decorated composers has been the basis for launching the Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards, aimed at recognizing and enabling the next generation of music composition talent.

The Hell's Kitchen Funk Orchestra is a group of New York City Jazz and Studio musicians directed by trumpeter, composer, arranger Bill Warfield. Their goal is to produce a brand of music that defies boundaries. The HKFO accomplishes just that in a big way on their second recording, a new Planet Arts Network release entitled 'Smile'. The 2020 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today unveiled its feature film lineup. Continuing its tradition of championing the discovery of emerging voices and celebrating new work from established talent, the 19th edition of the Festival foregrounds comedic, music-centered, political and socially-conscious films from diverse storytellers who use art to inspire positive change and community restoration. The 2020 Tribeca Film Festival will run April 15-26.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will present JANE BRUCE and TUCKER in JANE & TUCKER: STRIPPED for one performance only: Monday April 27 at 9:30PM. The two singer-songwriters -- who first met at the 2019 Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project -- team up for this unique evening, representing a culmination of collaboration, snatched between Broadway performances, TV tapings, and recording sessions. This world premiere -- scheduled on JANE's one night off from the hit Broadway production of Jagged Little Pill -- features spectacular original songs and re-interpretations of the duo's favorite tunes.

Joe's Pub, a program and venue of The Public Theater, has announced the new class of Joe's Pub Working Group (JPWG), the venue's artist development program dedicated to enhancing the career sustainability and growth of performing artists. Entering its sixth year, JPWG welcomes five artists - cabaret artist Salty Brine, vocalist and composer Sarah Elizabeth Charles, musician and musical theater composer Jaime Lozano, Indian classical and crossover vocalist Roopa Mahadevan, and singer-songwriter Kirsten Maxwell - into the group, which represents the diversity and scope of the nightly programming at Joe's Pub.
