Sheffield Theatres Announces Cast For DAMIAN'S POP-UP PANTO!

Today, Sheffield Theatres and Evolution Pantomimes announce the cast for Damian's Pop–Up Panto! at the Crucible Theatre. Joining legendary Dame, Damian Williams, are comedian, presenter and internet dancing sensation Joe Tracini (CBBC's The Dengineers, Hollyoaks), West End star Gemma Sutton (Gypsy, Follies, Girl From the North Country), Lucas Rush (Rock of Ages) and Deborah Tracey (Standing at the Sky's Edge).

Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury Announces Socially Distanced NURSE NELLIE SAVES PANTO

Nurse Nellie Saves Panto, running between Friday 11 December to Sunday 3 January, will be performed to a socially distanced audience and will star much-loved panto legend Ben Roddy who has played the Dame in The Marlowe's pantomimes for the last ten years. He will be joined by a cast of other Marlowe pantomime favourites, to be announced soon.

HOWERD'S END Starring Simon Cartwright and Mark Farrelly to Premiere at The Golden Goose

'Howerd's End' will get its world premiere at the new Golden Goose Theatre. This brand new play by Mark Farrelly ('Quentin Crisp: Naked Hope') takes you to the heart of Frankie and Dennis' clandestine relationship, which lasted from the 1950s until Frankie's death in 1992. It also affords a glorious opportunity to encounter Frankie in full-flight stand up mode.

Cast Announced for MOTHER GOOSE This Christmas at The Lyceum Theatre

Sheffield Theatres and Evolution Pantomimes are delighted to announce that Jake Canuso (Mateo from ITV's Benidorm), CBeebies favourite Andy Day (Andy's Dinosaur Adventures) and Sheffield legend Damian Williams will star in Mother Goose at the Lyceum Theatre from Friday 8 December until Sunday 7 January.

Top television presenter Stephen Mulhern stars in the production at the Canterbury venue, which runs from Friday 25 November to Sunday 8 January. Stephen is a regular on our screens in programmes such as The Next Great Magician, Go For It!, Catchphrase, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Britain's Got Talent and Big Star's Little Star. He is also co-presenter of Heart FM's Sunday morning show (with Emma Willis).

Evolution Productions Announces 2016 Panto Line-Up

Over the past eleven years family-run pantomime producers, Evolution Productions have built up a reputation for being the UK's number-one creators of bespoke high-quality pantos. The 2016 line up does nothing to disprove this.  The company, which is run by husband and wife team, former TV presenter Paul Hendy and Oxford graduate and former film production manager Emily Wood, will be presenting a festive banquet of seasonal shows across the country from then end of November 2016 to mid-January 2017.  The line up comprises Dick Whttington starring Stephen Mulhern (ITV's Catchphrase, Big Star Little Star) as Billy at The Marlowe in Canterbury, Peter Pan starring Emma Barton (Honey Mitchell - Eastenders) as Tinkerbell and Shaun Williamson(Barry Evans - Eastenders and himself in Extras) at The Hawth in Croydon, Sleeping Beauty at Lichfied Garrick Theatre starring Rebecca Keatley (CBeebies) as Fairy Moonbeam and the great dame himself Sam Rabone as Nurse Nellie, Snow White at The Lyceum Theatre Sheffield starring Wendi Peters (Coronation Street - Cilla Battersby- Brown) and Phil Gallagher(CBeebies - Mister Maker), Snow White at The Alban Arena St Albans starring Rita Simons(Eastenders - Roxy Mitchell) and Ian Kirkby (Dick & Dom In Da Bungalow), Cinderella at Theatre Severn Shrewsbury with panto favourite Brad Pitt and Peter Pan at the Octagon Theatre Yeovill starring supervillain Andrew Fettes as Captain Hook.
