Eagle Theatre has officially begun rehearsal for their upcoming production of the Tony Award Winning epic masterpiece, Ragtime, under the direction of Producing Artistic Director, Ted Wioncek III.

Media Theatre takes to the streets of 1950's New York for a rousing production of one of musical theater's most beloved, iconic classics.

The Media Theatre has the legendary musical "West Side Story" April 19 through June 11. With a book by Arthur Laurents and a sweeping score from Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, the musical is often referred to as one of the all-time greats in the Broadway canon.

The Ogunquit Playhouse sets sail with the delightful, Tony Award-winning Anything Goes June 15 to July 9. This splendid madcap musical comedy stars Broadway's Andrea McArdle as Reno Sweeney and features two-time Emmy Award winner Sally Struthers as Evangeline Harcourt. The pair are currently leading ANYTHING GOES at Gateway Performing Arts Center.

Musicals Tonight! the Obie-winning company dedicated to the revival of neglected musicals continues its 2013-14 season with a 16-performance run of Marvin Hamlisch and Howard Ashman's 1986 musical SMILE (through November 3) directed by Thomas Sabella-Mills, with music direction by David Bishop. Marvin Hamlisch and Howard Ashman's short-lived beauty pageant musical is revived by Musicals Tonight! in a version that restores its pre-Broadway satirical tone.

Musicals Tonight! the Obie-winning company dedicated to the revival of neglected musicals continues its 2013-14 season with a 16-performance run of Marvin Hamlisch and Howard Ashman's 1986 musical SMILE (October 22 - November 3) directed by Thomas Sabella-Mills, with music direction by David Bishop.

The word 'brilliant' is the word that came to mind as I left the Arden Theatre after seeing their production of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. Stephen Sondheim wrote the music and lyrics for this musical and Hugh Wheeler wrote the book. The Ingmar Bergman film, SMILE OF A SUMMER NIGHT, inspired this musical. Terrance J. Nolan directs this current production, and the Arden's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC is astounding.

Arden Theatre Company closes its 25th season with A Little Night Music, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler. Directed Terrence J. Nolen, A Little Night Music will run on the Arden's F. Otto Haas Stage from May 23 through June 30, 2013.
