We spend a lot of time thinking about the end and the beginning, in kind of self-aggrandizing ways. We talk about the miracle of birth and the mystery of death. But, by definition, all of our lives take place in the middle of those two sort of unknowable events, in this great and often unexamined middle.

The COREY HELFORD GALLERY is gearing up for the second exhibition at their new 12,000 square foot space on Anderson Street in downtownLos Angeles.  Southern California painter, illustrator and designer Josh Agle aka SHAG will debut his JUNGLE DRUMS collection Saturday, January 16 in the main gallery of CHG's cavernous urban industrial canopy.  Check out a first look below!

NOW. is a multimedia / performance / installation event directed and choreographed by Pat Catterson in collaboration with dance media artist Paul Galando and presented by NYU Tisch Dance and New Media Department on Saturday and Sunday, January 30 & 31, 2016 at 12 Noon. This immersive performance captures dancers in single moments in time and place performing simultaneously both in real and virtual time.

Growing up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, cotton patches were nowhere to be found, and 'gospel' was hardly a part of my vocabulary. When I learned of COTTON PATCH GOSPEL at Theatre Too (the black box stage at Theatre 3), I must admit I was prepared to judge (and avoid) the show based solely on its title. Still, when I was invited to come review the show, I cautiously accepted and asked a new friend to join me at the theatre. There, like a Biblical miracle, the company of COTTON PATCH GOSPEL made a convert out of me.
