Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts has announced the first 63 performances of Summer 2016 at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19; Wolf Trap members (donors of $75 and up) have access to presales and are purchasing tickets now. A complete calendar of performances may be found atwolftrap.org/summer and a press release dedicated to the Fine Arts season is here. Independent, nonprofit, community radio, 91.1 The Avenue today announced a concert date at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center with four-time Grammy winner, Pat Benatar and her husband, guitarist and writer Neil Giraldo in the We Live For Love Tour, Sunday April 24th for a 7:30 pm show.

Marti Gould Cummings makes his debut appearance at the stages of Feinstein's/54 Below in April to perform a celebration of nineties rock.

In their continuing effort to broaden its musical scope, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series at The Appel Room Saturday night presented two-time Tony Award nominee Andy Karl (Rocky, On the Twentieth Century) and his Tony-Award nominee wife Orfeh (Legally Blonde) performing together in concert for the first time.

Earlier this week, the cast of Broadway's ROCK OF AGES reunited at Highline Ballroom for DON'T BREAK UP THE BAND.  Presented by Showmance Productions, the evening featured ROCK OF AGES Broadway cast members from opening night to closing night, as well as band members from the show's fictional rock band, Arsenal. Directed by Matthew DiCarlo and with music direction by Henry Aronson, The concert included songs from bands like REO Speedwagon, STYX, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and more! DON'T BREAK UP THE BAND: A ROCK OF AGES BROADWAY CAST REUNION CONCERT is set for tonight, January 25th, 2016, at Highline Ballroom in NYC. 

New Line Theatre, "the bad boy of musical theatre," will present the driving, four-woman rock opera LIZZIE, by Steven Cheslik-DeMeyer, Tim Maner, and Alan Stevens Hewitt, in August 2017 to close the company's 2016-2017 season.

 Entertainment superstar Trey Songz will be performing on a float at this year's 89th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.  America's biggest holiday tradition will once again kick off the season as it returns to march down the streets of New York City on Thursday, November 26th.   As millions celebrate this day of Thanksgiving with family and friends, more than 8,000 participants including clowns, balloon handlers, and marching bands will travel through Manhattan to the sound of  this iconic catchphrase Let's Have a Parade.   With more than 3.5 million spectators and more than 50 million television viewers nationwide, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is the nation's most celebrated and anticipated holiday treat.   

Following a sold-out engagement at London's Hippodrome, San Francisco native Holly Penfield makes her Feinstein's at the Nikko debut with her acclaimed show, HOLLY PENFIELD SINGS JUDY GARLAND today, October 15 at 8 p.m.  Penfield will present the songs of the legendary Judy Garland in her own inimitable style.

Penobscot Theatre Company is thrilled to announce that it has secured the theatrical rights to Rock of Ages, and will produce the Maine premiere as a bonus show this season. 'I am not going to lie,' said Producing Artistic Director Bari Newport, 'I screamed and literally jumped for joy when I got the call. It's a great honor to be selected to premier the show, and we will absolutely do it justice!' While performance dates and times have yet to be announced, Newport reports that the show will open in June and run into July to serve residents and summer visitors alike.

“Raiding the Rock Vault” will welcome to the stage former Dio guitarist Rowan Robertson. Robertson will perform alongside lead guitarist Howard Leese in the acclaimed rock and roll production at The New Tropicana Las Vegas beginning Wednesday, August 19. Tickets are now on sale.
