We had a great Thanksgiving Day. In the morning, we watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. How could we be in NYC and not go to the parade? Then we had Thanksgiving dinner with Erin Dilly, who plays my mother in the show, and her family at their home. It was a wonderful time. We had to have an early dinner though, because we had a performance that evening. It went well, the audience was great, a good ending to a great Thanksgiving Day! The weekend after Thanksgiving, my grandmother, aunt, and cousins visited us from North Carolina. They saw our show - A Christmas Story, the Musical! - twice and all loved it, from my grandmother who is 85 down to my youngest cousin who is 5. We also saw the Rockettes while they were here and had a backstage tour after the show, including visiting the camels who were a highlight of the living Nativity scene.
