On Wednesday, June 5, 2013, the League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW), a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting visibility and increasing opportunities for
women in the professional theatre, is pleased to recognize the talents of four outstanding women: Peggy Eisenhauer, Judith Malina, Mia Katigbak, and Ashley Marinaccio. Tony winning producer, Pat Addiss is the LPTW Auction Chair. The Auction goes LIVE at BiddingforGood.com on May 20th. The awards will be presented at the League's 2013 Awards Luncheon to be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 5 at Sardi's Restaurant (Sardi's Restaurant is located at 234 West 44th Street, and the event will be held in the Eugenia Room on the 4th floor). Tickets are available at http://bit.ly/LPTW13LuncheonTix.

Peggy Eisenhauer, Tony Award winning lighting designer and nominee for Lucky Guy, will receive the Ruth Morley Design Award presented by Anna Deaveare Smith; Judith Malina, founder of The Living Theatre, will be presented the Lifetime Achievement Award by Mark Russell, Artistic Director-Producer of Under the Radar at The Public Theater; Mia
Katigbak, Artistic Producing Director and co-founder of NAATCO, will be presented the LPTW Lucille Lortel Award and accompanying grant; and Ashley Marinaccio, Founder and Artistic Director of Girl Be Heard, will be presented the Lucille Lortel Women's Visionary Award.

The Ruth Morley Design Award was initiated in 1998 in honor of costume designer Ruth Morley, one of the profession's leading designers for theatre and film who also served on the LPTW Board of Directors.

In April 1999, the LPTW received a bequest from the Lucille Lortel estate to establish a fund, which would annually provide a grant to an aspiring woman in any discipline of theatre who demonstrates creative promise and deserves recognition and encouragement.

Tickets to attend the luncheon and awards ceremony are $65 for members $70 for non-members, and are available online at http://bit.ly/LPTW13LuncheonTix or by phone: 1-800-838-3006 option 1 (use event code 175569).
