Classic American Tales To Present Tales at the Dormer House

Classic American Tales (CAT) will present Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers.

Cast Announced for City Lit's THE VIRGINIAN

City Lit Theater will open its 41st season with the world premiere adaptation of THE VIRGINIAN: A HORSEMAN OF THE PLAINS. Owen Wister’s novel, published in 1902, is said to have established the Western genre of narrative fiction and the cowboy ideal as an American icon.

City Lit Re-Announces Four-Show Season, to Begin in January 2022

City Lit Theater has re-announced programming for its 41st year of production, according to Producer and Artistic Director Terry McCabe. The 2021-22 subscription season will open with a world premiere adaptation – THE VIRGINIAN: A HORSEMAN OF THE PLAINS.

TEDDY ROOSEVELT: THE MAN IN THE ARENA Comes to The Greenhouse Theater Center

Written, produced and performed by Derek Evans, Teddy Roosevelt: The Man In The Arena, is a one act celebration of Theodore a?oeTeddya?? Roosevelt's extraordinary impact on America. The show runs from March 12 a?" April 19 at The Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. The performance schedule is Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Opening/press night is Thursday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. The current running time is approximately 75 minutes with no intermission.
