Award winning Singer/Songwriter/Musical Director, Michele Brourman, to appear on popular radio show 'Chew The Scene' 2/27 @ 1pm EST.

Eisemann Center will present comedian Tom Cotter at the Eisemann Center, 2351 Performance Drive in Richardson, Texas on Friday, March 13 at 7:30 pm in the Bank of America Theatre. Comedian Tom Cotter has taken the comedy scene by storm since finishing as runner-up and becoming the Breakout Star from Season 7's 'America's Got Talent.' He lost to a dog act, but don't hold that against him; Tom was the first comedian ever to be a finalist on the show and was the highest finishing human being on the show that year.

Vineyard Theatre presents Dana H.,playing until Sunday, March 29. Dana H., by Lucas Hnath, adapted from interviews with Dana Higginbotham conducted by Steve Cosson, and directed by Les Waters. Dana H. began previews on February 11 with Deirdre O'Connell reprising the title role for the New York premiere direct from engagements at Center Theatre Group and The Goodman Theatre. Wicked alums Jackie Burns (Broadway's longest running Elphaba) and Jonah Platt (NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar) will star as Pearl and Marty Kantrowitz in the East Coast premiere of A Walk on the Moon, at George Street Playhouse this April.

Tony winner (and eight-time nominee) Kelli O'Hara returned to her Oklahoma birthplace to wow audiences in the Kristin Chenoweth Theatre at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center. Just Kelli and a piano, she offered a truly generous concert, performing almost twenty songs over the span of nearly two hours, without an intermission. Ms. O'Hara undoubtedly possesses one of the clearest, crystalline voices of any singer today, yet it was her honesty, vulnerability, and sincerity that truly moved the audience to an immediate standing ovation at the end of the night.

Last night, supporters of TheatreWorks Silicon Valley gathered to hear the 2019 Regional Theatre Tony Award-winning company and its Board of Trustees announce the launch of its 50th Anniversary Campaign, a $5 million fundraising campaign to ensure the future success of the nationally-acclaimed theatre, including commissions for new plays and musicals.

A gorgeous new recoding of Berlioz's DAMNATION DE FAUST, on the Erato label, has come my way and it is well-worth investigating.  The work has entered the public consciousness with the recent revival by the Metropolitan Opera in late January and early February.   

International City Theatre opens its 35th anniversary season with a madcap musical salute to the swinging '40s. Written and created by Roger Bean (The Marvelous Wondrettes, Life Could Be A Dream), and with director/choreographer Jamie Torcellini at the helm, The Andrews Brothers opens on Feb. 21 at ICT's home in the Long Beach Performing Arts Center. Performances will continue through March 8, with two low-priced previews set for Feb. 19 and Feb. 20.

Due to popular demand, Torch the Place by Benjamin Law has been extended until Monday 23 March, with an additional performance added to the season.

Dreams, hope, despair, mystery and secrets all fill the hearts and minds of her characters in the poetic and humorous Skeleton Crew.' The tight knit ensemble of four of the finest actors to hit the stage in some time do Morisseau's words justice and do so with gusto. From the moment the music is heard, to the first words spoke you are gripping on every breathtaking moment in this top-notch performance, that left you winded and exaspirated in all the best ways possible. The chill left down my spine from this show still lingers even days later.

Cal State Fullerton's Department of Theatre & Dance kicks off its Spring slate of productions in March when Charlotte Brontë's most famous and beloved literary heroine comes to life in 'Jane Eyre: The Musical.' With a book by John Caird, music and lyrics by Paul Gordon, direction by James R. Taulli, and musical direction by Corey Hirsch, the play runs March 13-29 in the Little Theatre on campus.
