Tickets now on sale for climbing concert, GIANT, premiering a new tree song 'Epping' written by Robert Macfarlane with music by Oliver Weeks, within an hour-long programme of tree-inspired music and poetry that includes a reimagining of Oscar Wilde's The Selfish Giant, the classic short story about a giant banning children from playing in his garden, and works by Epping Forest poet John Clare, Benjamin Zephaniah, Grace Nichols and Handel.

It performs on The Heritage Center Theatre stage in Morrisville, PA from September 13 through 29. Co-Starring Nicholas Pecht, Allison, Deratzian, Tristan Takacs and Cat Miller. Featuring (alphabetically) Laurie Hardy, Charlotte Kirkby, Greg Kopcho, Hayley Rubins-Topoleski, Maryalice Rubins-Topoleski, Joseph Ryan and Joy Woffindin. The season will consist of 12 plays performed over four venues a?' the Roslyn Packer Theatre in Walsh Bay, the Drama Theatre and Playhouse Theatre at the Sydney Opera House, and Riverside Theatre in Parramatta.

Tandy Cronyn will star in The Tall Boy, a play by Simon Bent based on 'The Lost' by Kay Boyle and directed by David Hammond. It will be presented on Saturday, September 28 at 2pm at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street) as part of United Solo Theatre Festival. Having won their award for Best Adaptation in 2014, The Tall Boy has been invited back to the Festival as a 'The Best Of' selection for United Solo's Tenth Anniversary season. In December The Tall Boy will go to Chicago for a limited run (December 5 -15) at Stage 773.

Queer|Art, New York City's home for the creative and professional development of LGBTQ+ artists, is pleased to announce a special Fall season of Queer|Art|Film at IFC Center (323 Sixth Avenue at West 3rd St.), September 16-December 2. Organized by guest curators Vivian Crockett, Camilo Godoy, and Carlos Mottaa?"the season, titled Chicas y Fantasmas, explores the shells we inhabit to move through the world. Presented by four contemporary Latinx artists, the season assembles a fierce ensemble of showgirls, cyborgs, glam rockers, and two Chicana teens who defy gendered expectations, ableist norms, and society's limitations to actualize their own self-constructed identities and shape a vision of the world in which they want to live. A full itinerary follows. All screenings begin at 8pm.
