 Ars Nova has announced 17 new artists and groups selected in 2022 for residencies and commissions at Ars Nova. The Company’s dynamic slate of artist residencies and commissions supports outside-the-box thinking and encourages innovative, genre-bending work.

The categories for the ceremony were completely voted for by fan, honoring the best of movies, television, music, and social media. Halle Berry, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Kim Kardashian West, and Christina Aguilera were honored with icon awards. Winners also included Scarlett Johansson, BTS, Cruella, The Voice, Selena Gomez, JoJo Siwa, and more.

Spirited, an upcoming movie musical adaption of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, has added Sukari Jones, Khiyon Hursey and Mark Sonnenblick, as new songwriters to join Pasek and Paul in writing original music for the film. The cast includes Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell, Octavia Spencer, and Sunita Mani.

Sciorra plays the episode’s titular “blacklister,” “the avenging angel,” a character who will use any means necessary to return what has been unjustly stolen. The show also stars stars James Spader, Amir Arison, and Hisham Tawfiq. Check out exclusive new photos of Sciorra in the episode now!

GLSEN has announced that FLETCHER and Lena Hall will each perform at the GLSEN Respect Celebration.  GLSEN also announced Jennifer Beals, Jess Cagle, Wilson Cruz, Connor Franta, Jim Parsons and Alexandra Shipp will be part of the celebration.  GLSEN previously announced Antoni Porowski as host.

The 10-episode second season of the anthology drama, which provides a glimpse into America’s obsession with true crime podcasts, will return on Friday, August 20, 2021 with the first episode, followed by new episodes premiering every Friday.

Emmy and Grammy-nominated stand-up comedian, Tig Notaro (HBO's “Tig Notaro: Boyish Girl Interrupted”), will return to HBO this summer with the first-ever fully animated stand-up special, it was announced today by Nina Rosenstein, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming. The special will air on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced that movies are returning to the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza in March. Four true iconic films: HIDDEN FIGURES on March 5, THE LEGO MOVIE on March 6, ROMAN HOLIDAY on March 12 and HELLO, DOLLY! on March 13. Each a classic in its own right. All movies will be closed captioned.
