On July 21st, the students of Broadway Artists Alliance of NYC were tearfully overjoyed by a surprise visit from Hamilton star Renee Elise Goldsberry. Recently winning a Tony Award and Grammy for her role as Angelica Schuyler, Goldsberry spoke about the incredible journey that Hamilton has taken from workshopping a concept, to performing at The Public and moving to the Richard Rodgers Theatre, to earning 16 Tony nominations and winning a Pulitzer Prize. Goldsberry captivated the students of Broadway Artists Alliance during a lively Q&A where she offered generous advice. Scroll down for photos from her appearance!

Tony Award Winner, Laura Benanti, delighted the students of Broadway Artists Alliance's Summer Intensive program with a surprise visit this past Thursday! Benanti, who recently finished up a successful run of She Loves Me (2016 Tony Nomination for Leading Actress in a Musical), was as inciteful and entertaining off stage as she is on, during her Q&A with these aspiring young professionals. Tony Award Nominee and School of Rock's leading man, Alex Brightman, visited the students of Broadway Artists Alliance on Thursday, July 7th. On June 24, musical theater revue show BROADWAY AT THE W triumphantly returns to The Loft stage at W Hollywood. The 2015 debut BROADWAY AT THE W show was a sold-out success with a line of ticket holders stretching down Hollywood Blvd.

Delaware Theatre Company serves up a musical adaptation of a classic film with the upcoming production of DINER, written by Academy Award-winner Barry Levinson with music and lyrics by nine-time Grammy Award-winner Sheryl Crow. Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall, DINER earns a four week run at Delaware Theatre Company from December 2 and has already been extended through January 3, 2016. December 12, marked the official opening night.  Set in Baltimore during 1959, DINER follows a circle of childhood friends who confront the realities of adulthood in the one place they know they will always be welcome: the all-night diner.

On June 12, musical theater revue show BROADWAY AT THE W opens at The Loft at W Hollywood, formerly Drai's Hollywood.  Broadway actors, dancers and producers from Tony-Award winning and fan-favorite shows including "South Pacific," "The Producers," "The Book of Mormon," "Motown the Musical" and "Les Miserables" have assembled the highest caliber of Los Angeles-based Broadway performers to offer Angelenos an intimate and heart-stopping taste of Broadway. Tickets start at $10. The show features a live band, rotating program and special celebrity guests. The producers intend to continue the show on a weekly basis at W Hollywood.

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts ('The Wallis') announces four additional performances of Enter Laughing - The Musical, featuring a book by Joseph Stein (Fiddler on the Roof), music and lyrics by Stan Daniels ('The Mary Tyler Moore Show'), and directed by Stuart Ross (Forever Plaid). Musical Direction is by Gerald Sternbach. The show now runs through March 6 in the Lovelace Studio Theater.

The highly acclaimed Los Angeles concert series TRIPLE THREAT starts its 2015 season on Monday Feb 16 in its new home at The E Spot in Studio City. Now in its second year, Michael-Leon Wooley will once again be the host and creative force behind the series that showcases the best of Broadway as performed by 'triple threat' Broadway performers who are now living and working in L.A.

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts ('The Wallis') presents Enter Laughing - The Musical, featuring a book by Joseph Stein (Fiddler on the Roof), music and lyrics by Stan Daniels ('The Mary Tyler Moore Show'), and directed by Stuart Ross (Forever Plaid). Musical Direction is by Gerald Sternbach. The show will run for 23 performances only, February 8 - March 1, 2015, in the Lovelace Studio Theater (press opening February 11).

Lena Hall, 2014 Tony Award winner for Best Featured Actress in a Musical (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), recently surprised students of Broadway Artists Alliance'a Summer Intensive. Hall spoke of the start of her career, auditioning for her award winning role, and making time for her rock band, The Deafening. Hall also participated in a Q&A with students, answering questions and offering advice for young performers. Get a look at her appearance below!

Santino Fontana, 2013 Tony Award nominee for Best Leading Actor in a Musical (Cinderella), visited students of Broadway Artists Alliance Junior Summer Intensive on July 9th. Fontana spoke of his start in school plays all the way to his Broadway career. Fontana relayed some words of wisdom during a Q&A, answering questions ranging from memorizing all those lines to the process of making Frozen.

On June 16, 2014, Vitello's Jazz and Supperclub presents Noah Weisberg, Anne Letscher and Lynette DuPree in Triple Threat, a monthly Broadway concert series, featuring some of LA's finest Broadway talent. Hosted by Michael-Leon Wooley (Little Shop of Horrors, Five Guys Named Moe, The Music Man), Anne Letscher (Fiddler on the Roof), Noah Weisberg (Legally Blonde, South Pacific, Elf), and Lynette DuPree (Bring in 'Da Noise, Smokey Joe's Cafe) will bring the music of Broadway alive, showcasing what it takes to be a performer on Broadway. A little jazz music and a fun time will also be had by all.
