Warner Bros. Records will release the Original Broadway Cast Recording for School of Rock - The Musical on Friday, December 4, 2015, on the eve of opening night., BroadwayWorld has confirmed. 

BroadwayWorld has a first look at the stars and creative team of MOONSHINE: The Hee Haw Musical, the new musical comedy lovingly (and loosely) inspired by the classic TV series. MOONSHINE begins previews for its World Premiere at The Dallas Theater Center tonight, Wednesday, Sept 2, with an official opening night set for September 18, and runs through October 11.

Tickets for the Broadway production of School of Rock-The Musical go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, June 11.  School of Rock-The Musical will begin preview performances on Broadway Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre, with an opening set for Sunday, December 6, 2015. 

Before heading to Broadway this fall, School of Rock-The Musical is rocking the Gramercy Theatre (127 E 23rd Street) for a brief residency.

School of Rock-The Musical may not hit Broadway until later this year, but a select group of people are currently getting a sneak peek at the Grammercy Theatre to watch an early version of the new musical. With the performances underway, the creative team, including Andrew Lloyd Webber and Julian Fellowes, have released a new video detailing the show's journey to the stage. Check it out below!

Tickets are now on sale for the preview concerts, scheduled for tonight, June 3 at 7:30pm, tomorrow, June 4 at 7:30pm, Friday, June 5 at 7:30pm and Saturday, June 6 at 2:00pm.

Moonshine: That Hee Haw Musical, a new musical comedy lovingly (and loosely) inspired by the classic TV series, will get the Broadway treatment when it has its eagerly awaited World Premiere this fall at Dallas Theater Center. The musical, which had a much-buzzed-about industry reading in September, features a score by multi-Award winning artists Brandy Clark (a 2015 Grammy Award nominee for Best New Artist) and Grammy Award-winner Shane McAnally, two of country music's hottest new singer/songwriters. With a book by Robert Horn, direction by Gary Griffin and choreography by Denis Jones and musical supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Tony and Grammy Award-winner Stephen Oremus, Moonshine: That Hee Haw Musical begins performances at Dallas Center Theatre on September 2, 2015, where it runs through October 11, 2015.

Today, January 24, hundreds of musically gifted children will gather at the Winter Garden for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to join the most famous kid band of all time. An open casting call will be held today, where hundreds of kids will try to rock, whale, strum and drum their way to Broadway glory on the stage of the Winter Garden Theatre (former home, for nearly 18 record-shattering years, to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats). An additional open casting call for young performers will take place in Chicago on Saturday, January 24 at Actor's Equity Association (557 W. Randolph Street). School of Rock-The Musical is launching a coast-to-coast search for its new, Broadway-bound class of pint-sized rock stars, offering the once-in-a-lifetime chance to join the most famous kid band of all time. A massive open casting call will take place in New York on Saturday, January 24 at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway), on the stage where the show is set to have its world premiere later this year. Additional open casting calls for young performers will take place in Los Angeles on January 17 at Screenland Studios (10501 Burbank Blvd.) and Chicago on Saturday, January 24 at Actor's Equity Association (557 W. Randolph Street). All open calls begin at 10:00 a.m. (local time), with sign-in at 9:00 a.m.

MAMMA MIA! leading lady Judy McLane, who stars as "Donna Sheridan" in the long running hit musical, just received one of the theater's most coveted honors when she joined the ranks of Broadway royalty as her portrait was hung on the legendary walls of Sardi's Restaurant yesterday, January 7th, 2015. The Really Useful Group, Warner Music Group & Access Industries, The Shubert Organization, and The Nederlander Organization announced today that School of Rock-The Musical, will have its World Premiere on Broadway. Previews will begin on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre, with an opening set for Sunday, December 6. Based on the smash hit 2003 film of the same title, School of Rock will feature music from the movie, as well as new music written byAndrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, with a book by Julian Fellowes. School of Rock-The Musical will be directed by Laurence Connor (currently represented on Broadway by Les Miserables).
