Andrew Lloyd Webber's SCHOOL OF ROCK to Offer Public Performance Tonight

Before heading to Broadway this fall, School of Rock-The Musical is rocking the Gramercy Theatre (127 E 23rd Street) for a brief residency.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has just announced that there will be a public performance tonight, Tuesday, June 9th at 7:30pm. A limited number of general admission tickets will be available beginning one hour before curtain at the box office, on a first come, first served basis.

Based on the smash hit 2003 film of the same title, School of Rock-The Musical will feature music from the movie, as well as new songs written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, with a book by Julian Fellowes. School of Rock will be directed by Laurence Connor (currently represented on Broadway by Les Miserables).

School of Rock-The Musical will begin preview performances on Broadway Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre, with an opening set for Sunday, December 6, 2015.

School of Rock-The Musical will feature Choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter, Scenic and Costume Design by Anna Louizos, Lighting Design by Natasha Katz, Sound Design by Mick Potter, and Music Supervision by Ethan Popp.

School of Rock-The Musical is produced on Broadway by The Really Useful Group, Warner Music Group & Access Industries, The Shubert Organization, and The Nederlander Organization. Nina Lannan and Madeleine Lloyd Webber serve as Executive Producers.
