Review: THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW at Granite Theatre

Halloween season is upon us, and there is no better way to embrace its ghoulish spirit than Granite Theatre’s stylish, enticing production of ‘The Rocky Horror Show,’ Richard O’Brien’s deliciously tawdry cult classic musical about a young couple stranded at the mansion of a mad scientist, featuring the legendary dance romp, “Time Warp.”

On August 8th, 2014, THE IMBIBLE: A SPIRITED HISTORY OF DRINKING opened at the New York International Fringe Festival for what was supposed to be a five-performance run. After sold-out FringeNYC and Fringe Encore engagements, a front-page feature in the Arts section of The New York Times, and three hit sequels, the production is now in an open run at New World Stages.

As A SPIRITED HISTORY OF DRINKING enters its fifth smash year as one of the 100 longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time with over 700 performances, its producers have announced the return the show audiences have been clamoring for: RUM AND PIRATES, an expanded version of the production that originally ran exclusively on Hornblower Cruises.
