Jake Gyllenhaal stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night to talk about starring in Sea Wall / A Life, which is opening on Broadway this Friday.

Old Town Theatre Company will present Nick Payne's Constellations at the Hatbox Theatre August 1-11; Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm.

Jake Gyllenhaal was a guest on today's episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan to talk about the play he will be starring in on Broadway, Sea Wall/A Life.

Yesterday when the front of house for SEA WALL / A LIFE went up at the Hudson Theatre, the play's stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge dropped by to check out their brand-new marquee!

In a break from rehearsals of Sea Wall / A Life, Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge had some fun performing a song to help clear up any confusion about the play's full title.

Not very often does a piece of theatre come along that is truly cathartic, visceral and downright unnerving, but humbling as well. Summer Bohenenkamp's direction of Nick Payne's cathartic masterpiece Constellations does just that. The perfect closer to an unforgettable season at Jobsite Theater, the resident theatre company at the Shimberg Playhouse at the Straz Center. This show truly embraces everything Jobsite is about and in my honest opinion is the show of the Season! For a piece of work as visceral as this to unearth emotions deep inside and show a true honest take at the human emotion deeply resounded in a relationship, makes for an unwavering and unforgettable 85 minutes.

Casting is complete for this year's SUMMER SHORTS 2019, produced by Throughline Artists (J.J. Kandel, Producing Artistic Director) at 59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director). SUMMER SHORTS 2019 begins on Friday, July 19 and runs through Saturday, August 31. Two series featuring three one-act plays in each will play in rotating repertory Tuesday - Friday at 7:15 PM; Saturday & Sunday at 2:15 PM and 7:15 PM. Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the summer intern production, INCOGNITO by Nick Payne, directed by Bay Street's DirectingProducing intern Kellie M. Beck and starring Bay Street Theater's 2019 Acting Apprentices. This production will run as a show directed, produced, designed and acted entirely by the summer intern company at Bay Street Theater. In a recent interview with AOL, Jake Gyllenhaal revealed that he, his co-star Tom Sturridge, and director Carrie Cracknell are already hard at work on some updates.
