Join an evening of cultural celebration on Friday, March 3, starting with the 9th annual Latino Art Fair in Overture Center's Promenade Hall and Terrace from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., followed by a performance by the Afro-Cuban All Stars in Overture Hall at 7:30 p.m. The Latino Art Fair is a free community event.

Voyageur, the new album from the legendary African guitarist and singer Ali Farka Touré, is out next month on World Circuit Records. In anticipation of the forthcoming record World Circuit is debuting the new track “Cherie” featuring acclaimed Malian diva and longtime friend of Touré’s Oumou Sangaré.

World Circuit Records is reissuing four of its cornerstone albums. Remastered and available on vinyl for the first time, Ali Farka Touré's Savane and Omara Portuondo's Buena Vista Social Club Presents are on LP and digital formats today, followed by Radio Tarifa's Rumba Argelina and Guillermo Portabales' El Carretero, which are due on CD, LP and digital formats on October 4.

This Cuban big band, featured in the Academy Award-winning documentary Buena Vista Social Club, brings the sizzling sounds of Havana to the Hartford area for the first time ever. Led by the legendary Juan de Marcos Gonzalez, they perform music from the rich and soulful golden era of pre-revolutionary Cuba.
