The Classical Theatre of Harlem has received a Regrowth and Capacity grant of $10,000 from the New York State Council on the Arts.

Ice Theatre of New York has received two Regrowth and Capacity grants of $10,000 each from the New York State Council on the Arts. These grants will support the organization's rehiring of a Development Coordinator and Director of Outreach to continue new virtual programming and resume live events.

Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) announces the Professional Development Program, which will provide a scope of opportunities for early career directors and choreographers.

The Dessoff Choirs has announced its annual holiday concert series. Now in its 98th year, The Dessoff Choirs continues to shepherd audiences into the holiday spirit with three performances in some of New York City's most beautiful churches. This season's offerings include the popular sing-along of Handel's Messiah followed by a pair of concerts comprising carols and seasonal favorites. 

The Chocolate Factory Theater presents the world premiere of Folds, a new dance performance by Ivy Baldwin. Performances will take place at The (New) Chocolate Factory Theater, 38-33 24th Street, Long Island City NY 11101.

Ice Theatre of New York will present Edge Classes on Tuesdays from 6:30am-7:45am, November 8-29, 2022 held at the Rink at Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park, NYC. Skaters can drop in for one session or attend all four.

The internationally heralded New York-based Da Capo Chamber Players will perform three characteristically compelling programs on Sunday evenings at New York City's Tenri Cultural Institute this season.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Betsy King Militello, Executive Director) is now accepting submissions for the 35th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, to be held in New York City on Thursday, October 26 and Friday, October 27, 2023.

On Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 7pm, composer and instrumentalist Ben Neill will present his immersive electronic opera Fantini Futuro at Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral, located at 261 Mott Street in New York. This one night only performance also acts as the premiere of the opera's full presentation, as well as a benefit for restoring the church's historic organs.
