Mindy Pfeffer's thought provoking new play HOW TO LIVE is slated to have its World Premiere at the 14th Street Y in the East Village in January 2023.

Ice Theatre of New York has received an award of $30,000 from the City of New York. This comes as part of New York City Mayor Eric Adams and New York City Department of Cultural Affairs Commissioner Laurie Cumbo's recent announcement of over $58 million in Cultural Development Fund grants to 1,070 cultural organizations across the five boroughs.

Symphony Space will welcome Sunny Jain (Red Baraat), one of the city’s most acclaimed, versatile musicians, for a residency in which he’ll perform three projects he has developed, each with its own themes, musical genres, and lineup of collaborators.

Searching for Goya will include several pieces in development from an eventual evening-length work inspired by Goya. Performing at The Center at West Park are dancers Soledad Barrio, Marina Elana, Pablo Fraile, and Antonio Granjero.

Bristol Valley Theater, the Finger Lakes' award-winning live professional theater, will return this summer to live performances inside their theater venue at Main Street in Naples.

Joe's Pub will present Sunny Jain's Love Force, a new theatrical piece in development and inspired by Mohandas Gandhi's concept of satyagraha, on Saturday, January 14 at 9:30 PM. Part of New York Voices, the artist commissioning program at Joe's Pub, this show will be an intimate evening centering on the Punjabi dhol drum, blurring the lines of performer and audience in order to create a collective effervescence.

BAX has announced its first AlumNight Showcase fundraiser event in the BAX Theater on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Co-curated and produced by former BAX students Eleanor Crawford (Alumnus 2017) and Zoe Fruchter (Alumnus 2017), the event will feature seven original performance pieces choreographed, directed, and performed by BAX student alumni as well as special guest speakers.

The Intrepid Museum will present an Astro Live program (formerly Virtual Astronomy Live) on Sunday, December 18 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm ET.  In this free event, participants will learn about the record-breaking journey of the Orion spacecraft, part of the Artemis I mission which launched from NASA's Kennedy Space Center on November 16.

Ice Theatre of New York will take part in the 2022 Winter Holiday Skating Celebration and Tree Lighting at The Rink at Denny Farrell Riverbank State Park on December 10 at 4pm.
