Best remembered for his starring role on the television series 'Friends,' for which he earned an Emmy nomination, David Schwimmer is getting ready to make his Broadway debut in a revival of Herman Wouk's The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial. He will be playing military lawyer Lt. Barney Greenwald. I had the opportunity to sit down with Schwimmer during rehearsals.

MCC THEATER announced today that FELICIA FIELDS (The Color Purple), along with a special performance by members of Broadway's THE WEDDING SINGER will join the celebrity cast of 'MISCAST,' a star-studded musical revue featuring some of Broadway's biggest names singing show tunes in roles they would never, ever perform.

Bill Kenwright and Marla Rubin announce that they will present the Almeida Theatre production of FESTEN, the hugely successful London play about a family with a dark secret, on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre (239 W. 45th St.), with performances beginning Thursday, March 23. Larry Bryggman, Michael Hayden, Ali MacGraw and Julianna Margulies have been cast in the Broadway production. Directed by Rufus Norris, in a dramatization by David Eldridge from the Danish 1998 film, FESTEN will have its official press opening on Sunday, April 9.
MCC Delays Opening Night of The Wooden Breeks by One Week to February 21

MCC THEATER today announced that the New York premiere of The Wooden Breeks by Glen Berger, directed by Trip Cullman, will now open one week later on Tuesday, February 21, 7pm at the Lucille Lortel (121 Christopher Street) in order to implement further artistic changes.
