This is How it Goes at the Public Theater Moves Previews Start to March 11

The Public Theater announces that due to a recent cast change, This Is How It Goes, which was originally scheduled to begin previews Thursday, March 10th, will now begin previews Friday, March 11th.

The world premiere of This Is How It Goes, directed by George C. Wolfe, stars Amanda Peet, Ben Stiller, and Jeffrey Wright. As previously announced, Amanda Peet replaced Marisa Tomei when she withdrew from the production due to personal family reasons. The press opening is scheduled for Sunday, March 27th.

Neil LaBute turns his savage observer's eye to small town America, where an interracial love triangle sets off a fierce drama of manipulation, exploitation, infidelity, and passion. The author of Fat Pig, The Shape of Things, and In the Company of Men brings to The Public's stage his most ambitious and challenging work to date.

This Is How It Goes has scenic design by Riccardo Hernández, costume design by Sandra Hernandez, lighting design by David Weiner, sound design by Fitz Patton; projection design by Batwin + Robin Productions, and fight direction by Luis Perez.

Tickets for This Is How It Goes, which are $60, are on sale at The Public Theater box office, 425 Lafayette Street; on-line at www.publictheater.org; and Box office hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00pm to 7:30pm, and Sunday and Monday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.
