The Public Theater announces that the sold out world premiere of Neil LaBute's This Is How It Goes will extend its run an additional week, through Sunday, April 24th. Directed by George C. Wolfe, the production stars Amanda Peet, Ben Stiller, and Jeffrey Wright. Previews began Friday, March 11th in The Public Theater's Anspacher Theater. The press opening was Sunday, March 27th.

Neil LaBute turns his savage observer's eye to small town America, where an interracial love triangle sets off a fierce drama of manipulation, exploitation, infidelity, and passion. The author of Fat Pig, The Shape of Things, and In the Company of Men brings to The Public's stage brings to The Public's stage his most challenging and ambitious work to-date.

This Is How It Goes has scenic design by Riccardo Hernández, costume design by Sandra Hernandez, lighting design by David Weiner, sound design by Fitz Patton; projection design by Batwin + Robin Productions, and fight direction by Luis Perez.

This Is How It Goes plays Tuesday through Saturday at 8:00pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm, and Sunday at 7:00pm. There will be a performance of This Is How It Goes on Wednesday, April 20th at 2pm. There will be no performances on Friday, April 22nd; and Saturday, April 23rd (matinee only; there will be an evening performance).

Tickets for This Is How It Goes, which are $60, are on sale at The Public Theater box office, 425 Lafayette Street; on-line at www.publictheater.org; and via Tele-charge, 212-239-6200. Box office hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00pm to 7:30pm, and Sunday and Monday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.
