The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, Nick Lane’s thrilling adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s dark psychological fantasy, visits Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre next month.

Following being filmed and streamed in 2020, this thrilling adaptation by Nick Lane of Robert Louis Stevenson’s dark psychological fantasy is touring the country from September 2021 – May 2022 with over 100 dates, immersing audiences in the myth and mystery of 19th century London.  

Naomi Peterson joins the company in the role of Miss Stapleton and others, joining the previously announced Richard Ede (Sherlock Holmes), Marc Pickering (Stapleton and others), Eric Stroud (Doctor Watson), Naomi Peterson (Miss Stapleton and others), Phil Yarrow (Sir Henry and others).

Bell Shakespeare today announced the cast for the upcoming production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, travelling to 26 venues across Australia in New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania and Queensland between July and November this year.

NAATCO, today announced that the company has commissioned five Asian American playwrights, all women, to write monologues for characters no younger than 60-years-old. Each monologue will be at least 30 minutes long, and all five will be performed together as a piece entitled Out of Time.
