Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that the Tony Award-winning, record-shattering Broadway production of Kinky Boots will play its final performance on April 7, 2019. At the time of its closing, the musical will be the 25th longest-running production in Broadway history, having played 2,507 regular performances and 34 previews.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced that WAYNE BRADY will join "THE SOUL SESSION," the monthly event created and hosted by Broadway's KYLE TAYLOR PARKER, as a special musical guest on Sunday, April 22 at 9:30 PM. EW reports that Jake Shears, the lead singer of Scissor Sisters, and Kirstin Maldonado, Grammy-award winner for her work in the a capella group Pentatonix, will join the cast of Kinky Boots next year!

Alternative Press is reporting that the cast of Kinky Boots is currently running an online auction of collectibles and fan experiences to raise money for Eric L. Summers who is currently battling cancer. All proceeds will go towards his medical bills.
