 CBC Gem original anthology series SAVE ME returns with six unforgettable new episodes (6x10min), continuing to take a comedic yet poignant look at lives on the brink of a 911 emergency incident. Premiering on June 27, National PTSD Awareness Day, the new season features the returning cast of eclectic paramedics, and will take viewers deeper as the first responders are forced to come to terms with their job's effect on their mental health. SAVE ME's new episodes will be available exclusively on the free CBC Gem streaming service.

It's been about almost two years since we last caught up with Oskar Brown and we thought it might be time to see what he has been up to!

'Between' is packing them in. Its poster design is a fine example of how to attract your intended audience, with two nubile young men in a topless clinch. And indeed, the audience is almost exclusively male, and it's a capacity crowd, so full marks to the marketing.

That most intimate of Capetonian theatre venues, the Alexander Upstairs, is currently home to the professional premiere in South Africa of Oskar Brown's play BETWEEN, an intense exploration of human relationships, heartbreak, heartache, love, lust and social performance.
