One week before the NT Live broadcast of All About Eve, Sonia Friedman Productions and Fox Stage Productions have today announced that the Olivier Award-nominated production has broken box office records at the Noel Coward Theatre. Each week since official opening on 12th February, All About Eve has exceeded the previous record for weekly net sales. Ivo van Hove's production must end on 11th May 2019.
After sold-out shows at the Dixon Place and the PIT Loft, Dana Aber's Baggage at the Door has been selected to compete in the ONE Festival, happening the week of April 22-28, at the Teatro LATEA. Named an Official Selection of the 2019 ONE Festival, Baggage at the Door will join 9 other original soloshow theatre pieces. Founded by Veronica Caicedo, The ONE Festival is NYC's longest running solo performers theater festival, and returns to The Clemente's LATEA Theater for its 14th year.
Broadway Dreams and Millikin University announced today that Jake Faragalli will be the third Broadway Dreams student to receive a four-year full tuition scholarship to the Illinois university's BFA Musical Theatre program. Faragalli will begin classes at Millikin in fall 2019. The Broadway Dreams Scholarship was established in partnership with Millikin University in 2016 and is awarded each year to a deserving student who has participated in Broadway Dreams Summer Intensives, workshops, and residencies.
